The maker placed blocks on point. If you look closely, you can see the streaks of lightning between the blocks such precision.

Tiny postage stamp pieces in the center. Indigo blue fabric matched with cinnamon pink. I love this combination.

Pennsylvania quilter's at the time were in love with this shade of pink. You see it vastly in their quilt making.

Measures 85 x 65 inches

Fine hand quilting at 10-12 stitches per inch

The binding in pink is hand sewn.

The background in white with pretty blue calico accents. The center postage stamp pieces have this same combination.

The quilt is so balanced and a great example of how playing with blocks and fabrics create true art work!

In wonderful condition. Appears never used with faint age spotting and no wear.
