We found this beauty in Lancaster County Pennsylvania.

A striking Red Cross quilt made during World War I. Many Patriotic quilts were created during this era in red, white and blue. There was another surge during World War II and again a revival during our Bicentennial.

Early Patriotic examples are highly collected, and we were so excited to find this one.
